LIT DESIGN AWARDS SPECIAL PRIZES

Since 2018, LIT is celebrating individuals with major contributions to the Lighting Industry with a special “Lifetime Achievement” prize, this year the recipient is Roger Narboni founder of Concepto and inventor of the field of light urbanism.

The LIT Lighting Design Awards Spotlight prize is dedicated to an organization or a project that carries out remarkable work for its community and has a major contribution to the Lighting Industry. The LIT Design Awards is thrilled to announce that Darksky is receiving the 2023 "Spotlight" prize. Daksky's mission is to restore the nighttime environment and protect communities and wildlife from light pollution.

LIT Design Awards is an annual lighting design competition where all entries are voted on by a grand jury panel composed of experienced and prominent academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs and key people from the lighting design industry.

LIT DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS EVENTS

Since 2017, we have honoured the LIT Lighting Design Awards winners with grand ceremonies and galas held in prestigious cities around the globe, including Tokyo, Philadelphia, São Paulo, Budapest, Athens, and London. The program, celebrated biennially, invites the winners to take the main stage, where they have the opportunity to showcase their work and share their passion for the industry.
